Immersion Cap Negre
Shortly after passing the island of Portixol, we will see Cap Negre, sheltered from the south wind and in whose proximities, we can make several dives in which the presence of multiple holes, arcs and small caves is a common denominator.
In this case, we propose a simple dive in which we anchor in the inlet, at a depth of approximately 7 meters, to continue heading to the cape wall, guided by a rock line that runs parallel to it and in which we can have encounters with groupers and even lobsters, though moray eels and octopuses are more common.
At the end of the rock line, we look for the wall, which now turns south/southwest, forming the mouth of a cave, although it really looks like a bite of short length in the wall, yet allows us to enter and find common species in areas gloomy as the gorgonians. When leaving, and following the wall on the right, there are some beautiful arcs that will mark the moment of return. This pleasant dive, suitable for divers of any level, is very entertaining and it’s astonishing the amount of life that usually encloses.
